Listening to Dutch music really helps you to learn the language in addition to attending your Dutch courses.

Usually people only attend Dutch courses once or twice a week and for some of you this is the only time that you are able to hear Dutch.

We have selected some music for you to listen to and hopefully there will be some things that you will like. Listening to Dutch music is particularly beneficial to students who feel completely lost during their Dutch courses.

We do not have the music on this site but the best way to listen to it is to type in the singer or band name into Youtube. (You can find all the bands and singers mentioned here on Youtube.)

What is so great about doing this is that you don’t have to understand the text? Just listen and enjoy the music. Your understanding of your Dutch course will definitely benefit from this.

This list is made by all the Dutch teachers at our Dutch Language School Katakura WBLC.

We hope that you will find music that you like and enjoy your Dutch courses.
